If you’ve got a box of “Mystery Parts” with your older model Mark V, they might be dust collection pieces for the 1-1/4 inch single port lower saw guard assembly (pp. 162-3 of your Shopsmith Owners Manual). I’ve attached an actual sized image of these two parts (PDF Download).
