I plunge into Native American Style Fluting..

While I’ve got some Native American blood on the maternal granddad’s side (Cherokee), I cannot claim such a distinction. I do however love the Native American flutes. The authentic native works are fully functional pieces of art. Still–you know me–I like making things myself.

So I’ve purchased Cherry Cow’s CDs on the subject.

Googling, I only found his and one other site.  I selected his materials because he demonstrates hand, and modern tool approaches.  So, this promises to be fun and educational.

More as it develops.

Cherry Cow’s materials arrived yesterday, and I’m pleased. I’m not sure if I want to buy some simpler hand tools, or invest in some power equipment. The nice thing about Ki-E-Ta’s plans is that they’ll work out great either way.
